The Field Systems Engineer is responsible for performing installations, maintenance, and repairs on bioMerieux instruments at customer sites. They must also drive service revenue, manage inventory, and provide professional support to customers while maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 90% of the time are required.
The Field Systems Engineer (FSE) is responsible for attending to service needs of bioMerieux customers within their assigned geographic territory, as well as nationally, on an as-needed basis, utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment. The FSE is a self-starter, with the ability to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, while working remotely without direct supervision and able to conduct overnight travel on short-notice.
