The Safety & Support Lead manages student release procedures and monitors campus access to ensure a safe environment. They also provide emotional support to students and maintain positive relationships with families and school partners.
Candidates must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and pass background and TB clearances. Strong communication skills and availability during after-school hours are required.
The Safety & Support Lead serves as the primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors during after-school programming. This role helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment by overseeing student release procedures, monitoring campus access, supporting emergency preparedness, and building positive relationships with families and school partners.
Benefits:
Pay: $24–$27/hour, based on experience and regional location
Up to 15 paid holidays annually
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week (after-school hours)

Key Responsibilities
Ensure students are released only to authorized adults and monitor campus entry points.
Conduct safety checks and support emergency drills and response procedures.
Serve as a welcoming presence for students, families, and visitors.
Build positive relationships through responsive communication and excellent customer service.
Support daily attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and front desk operations.
Assist students who need additional supervision, emotional support, or a break from activities.
Participate in program events, trainings, meetings, and other site initiatives
