The welder is responsible for producing high-quality weldments from blueprints and performing fabrication, assembly, and painting tasks. They must also maintain shop equipment and ensure all work meets specified tolerances and safety protocols.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of welding experience and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in reading blueprints and knowledge of fabrication equipment like saws, lathes, and mills is required.

A 3rd Shift Welder for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is welding/fitting, other duties to include fabrication, assembly, and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Automation shop equipment. A Welder will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by individual print. A Welder I will have 1-2 years of experience in the welding/fitting field.
