The Retail Banking Specialist handles front-line transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing while maintaining customer relationships. They are also responsible for identifying customer needs and referring them to appropriate banking products or services.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least six months of experience in a service-related field. The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to work specific evening and Saturday shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Retail Banking Specialist I- The Retail Banking Specialist is responsible for front line transactions, as well as representing to our customers the first stage of all account relationships. Proper training on policies, procedures, and products and services for account representatives and those on the front line is vital to the success of the Bank. The impression the Retail Banking Specialist makes with our customers is an important quality for developing and maintaining our account relationships.
Department: Retail
Reports to: Head Teller, Assistant Manager, Branch Manager
Supervises: None
Summary: A Retail Banking Specialist I is cross functional and will undertake most, or all of the frontline transaction activities, such as, cashing checks, taking in deposits, and making withdrawals. Requires six months learning these basic functions to begin to train on the other job functions of this position.
