The accountant will manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including monthly financial closes, tax compliance, and balance sheet reconciliations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license with 3–5 years of progressive experience. Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, Colombian tax regulations, and ERP systems like NetSuite is required.
The Finance area is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the company’s financial information and accounting operations across the organization. As we build a financial institution from the ground up, this role plays a critical part in maintaining strong financial governance, supporting regulatory compliance, enabling strategic decision-making, and ensuring scalable and sustainable financial operations.
This role will support the end-to-end accounting cycle and monthly close process under US GAAP and Colombian accounting standards (IFRS/NIIF), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and timely reporting to the global headquarters.
