The Strategic Sourcing Analyst designs and sources materials for IT projects by analyzing technical Bills of Materials and securing competitive pricing from OEMs and distributors. The role focuses on optimizing total cost and protecting margins through deal registrations, rebates, and the identification of substitute products.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in IT product quoting or procurement within the technology industry. Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and a strong track record of negotiating with IT hardware and software vendors are required.
Overview
As the Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will serve as a key procurement partner to Sales, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, and our Service Delivery team, helping design, price, and source the materials needed to support opportunity wins and project profitability. This role reviews technical bill of materials, determines the optimal sourcing strategy for each line item, and works closely with OEMs, distributors, and internal stakeholders to secure competitive pricing, availability, and terms. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst also evaluates deal registration, special pricing, rebates, promotions, and substitution opportunities to improve total cost and protect margin. Success in this fast-paced, deadline-driven role requires strong knowledge of the IT hardware and software channel, the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent quote requests, and the judgment to identify sourcing risks and recommend cost-effective alternatives throughout the solution design process.

Position Specifics
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000 and $90,000. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
