The GL Accountant provides operational support to the Finance Shared Service team by recording journal entries, accruals, and interests for over 20 legal entities. Key duties include performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and assisting in audits.
The role is suitable for a candidate with initial experience in finance. It requires a hands-on approach to operational accounting and the ability to follow business policies and delegation of authority.
The GL Accountant will work from the Lebanon office in cooperation with the Antwerp office and will provide support to the Finance Shared Service team in the General Ledger department, reporting to the Group Reporting Manager. In this role you will provide support to the senior accountants and assist on the accounting of more than 20 legal entities within the MEA Region.
The role suits a candidate who has had a first experience in finance.
