The apprentice will prepare surfaces and apply various paint and textured coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprays. Responsibilities also include reading specifications, performing basic calculations, and maintaining equipment like trestle systems.
Candidates must have a genuine interest in painting, physical fitness for manual labor, and a White Card or the ability to obtain one. Eligibility requires being an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holding full working rights in Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a
Painting Apprentice, your duties will include:
Carrying
out measurements and basic calculations
Reading
and interpreting plans and specifications
Erecting
and maintaining trestle and plank systems
Handling
painting and decorating materials
Using
painting and decorating tools and equipment
Removing
and replacing doors, windows, and components
Preparing
surfaces for painting
Applying
paint using brushes and rollers
Applying
textured coating finishes by brush, roller, roller, and
spray

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
To be
eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be an
Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights
