Responsible for the reliability and optimization of critical mechanical and process systems supporting a 24/7 Recirculating Aquaculture Systems operation. This includes leading capital improvement projects and troubleshooting equipment like chillers, pumps, and filtration systems to improve uptime and efficiency.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 5-10 years of experience in continuous industrial operations. Experience in marine or Navy engineering is highly desirable, along with strong root cause analysis capabilities.

Job Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for the reliability, optimization, and performance of critical mechanical and process systems supporting our 24/7 Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) operation.
This role focuses on water treatment infrastructure, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and process equipment including chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, valves, PLC-integrated controls, and water filtration systems.
Success in this role requires strong analytical problem-solving, operational engineering experience in continuous and batch production environments, and the ability to plan and lead projects that improve uptime, energy efficiency, and system stability.

This job operates in a combined office and production environment within a 24/7 aquaculture facility.
Core business hours Monday through Friday with modified schedule as needed to support farm projects. Expectation that responses to calls outside of standard work hours may be required based on operational needs.
