The Operations Assistant provides administrative support to the Operations Department, including payroll entry and paperwork management. They are also responsible for coordinating schedules with field teams and assisting with staff onboarding.
A high school diploma is required, with some college and previous administrative experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ADP payroll systems are highly valued.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Operations Assistant to support our Commercial Trucking Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in transportation, logistics, and operations management. The Commercial Operations Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Commercial Trucking Division. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. DOT, FMCSA knowledge preferred.
Support daily trucking and commercial operations activities
Manage administrative paperwork and maintain accurate records
Enter payroll information into ADP and assist with payroll-related tasks (Truck drivers' payroll experience)
Answer department phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Coordinate schedules with commercial trucking and industrial moving field teams
Review and process weekly uniform invoices
Assist with client account coverage and customer communications
Support employee onboarding and new hire paperwork
Communicate company updates and operational information to employees
High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred
Previous administrative, transportation, logistics, or operations support experience preferred
Experience with ADP or payroll systems is a plus
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Reliable means of getting to work daily required
