How you will make an impact
You will be a member of the Network Product Team within IT Platforms department, located in Gdańśk and reporting to an IT Delivery Lead. The main responsibilities in the role are designing and implementing new networks in Arla locations around the world, improving our toolset as well as ensuring our Product is focused around end user satisfaction.
Specifically, you will
Actively participate in Network lifecycle by leading LAN refresh projects including cooperation with suppliers including occasional travel to Arla sites
Create and provide input to technical design documentation
Be traveling to Arla sites to build the necessary insights into their network infrastructure, and execute enhancements and improvements
Perform/ coordinate quality reviews of ongoing- or newly deployed network implementations
Be able to transform business needs into IT solutions and ensure delivery of business value
Enhance our toolset and configuration to ensure it’s able to support our business in the best possible way
What will make you successful
You have technical in-depth knowledge of network technologies. You are an excellent communicator capable of establishing strong networks with key stakeholders and IT specialists in a challenging matrix environment. You are capable of analysing complex problems and summarizing them in a simple and understandable way that supports decision making. At the same time, you must be a good listener, be able to see matters from your colleague's point of view and be keen to work in an Agile environment.
Furthermore, you
Possess a degree within IT
Have been working with networks for a minimum of 10 years
Have strong knowledge of Cisco Switches, Routers and wireless solution, Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, WLC platforms
Demonstrate knowledge of Cisco network environment, and proven experience in designing and implementing/refreshing enterprise network infrastructures
Show experience in enterprise wireless design and deployment (WLCs, APs, RF planning, wireless security).
Speak and write English effortlessly
Have the ability to effectively communicate designs, concepts and technical details to a non-technical audience
Obtained at least one Cisco Certification (nice to have)
Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
