Talent Acquisition Specialist - Appvia

Location: Remote (Global) - working primarily within UK business hours (9am-5pm GMT/BST)

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

Day Rate: £100-200 per day

About Appvia

Appvia is a specialist platform engineering, software, and AI enablement consultancy, helping organisations modernise how they build, deliver, and operate technology.

We partner with public and private sector organisations to solve complex engineering challenges across cloud platforms, software delivery, DevOps, platform engineering, and AI. As Appvia continues to scale rapidly, we are investing heavily in growing high-performing teams across engineering, delivery, and commercial functions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Appvia within our Talent Acquisition team.

This is a high-impact, delivery-focused role for an experienced technology recruiter who thrives in fast-paced consultancy environments and enjoys building strong technical teams at pace. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead and leadership across the business to attract, engage, and secure high-quality talent across multiple disciplines including platform engineering, software engineering, delivery, data, AI, and cloud consulting.

We are looking for someone who can make an impact quickly - driving sourcing activity, building pipelines, managing candidate processes effectively, and closing strong candidates in competitive markets within their first month.

Interview Process - 2 Stage

  • Hiring Manager Interview
  • Final Leadership Interview
Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of recruitment delivery across agreed business areas and technical practices
  • Proactively source, screen, and engage high-quality technical talent across cloud, platform engineering, software engineering, delivery, and AI markets
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for active and near-term hiring demand
  • Manage candidate processes end-to-end, ensuring strong candidate experience, engagement, and process control throughout
  • Support offer management, negotiation, and closing activity in competitive markets
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Lead to deliver against hiring priorities and business growth plans
  • Maintain high levels of recruitment activity and delivery across multiple concurrent roles and pipelines
  • Work closely with People Operations to support onboarding and a smooth new starter experience
  • Contribute to employer branding activity across LinkedIn and other online audiences
  • Support recruitment reporting, ATS hygiene, market mapping, and hiring process improvements as the business scales
About You

You are a driven, delivery-focused recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, high-output hiring environments. You enjoy the challenge of finding and securing hard-to-reach technical talent, building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders, and delivering quality hires at pace.

This role would suit someone coming from a high-performing technology recruitment agency background who is looking to move in-house while still maintaining a strong focus on delivery, sourcing, and hiring impact.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience recruiting within technology, digital transformation, cloud, software engineering, or consultancy markets
  • Strong sourcing, headhunting, and pipeline-building capability across competitive technical skillsets
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously within fast-moving hiring environments
  • Strong candidate management, influencing, and offer closing skills
  • Confidence engaging with both technical candidates and senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Experience using ATS platforms such as Workable and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and prioritisation skills
  • High levels of resilience, energy, and self-motivation
  • Interest in cloud, platform engineering, AI, or modern software engineering markets is highly desirable
Why Join Appvia?

We are a self-funded, London-based platform engineering and AI enablement consultancy, helping organisations design, build, and operate modern cloud platforms at scale.

As we continue to grow across Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, Data & AI, and Cloud Solutions, we're investing in exceptional people who can help us scale without compromising the high standards, agility, and collaborative culture that define Appvia.

For this role, you'll benefit from:

  • Fully remote working with flexible delivery-focused hours
  • Direct access to hiring managers and business leadership
  • Opportunity to recruit across some of the most in-demand technology skillsets in the market
  • High levels of autonomy, ownership, and trust
  • Fast-paced environment with immediate impact and visible results
  • Exposure to a growing consultancy during an exciting stage of expansion
  • Quick interview process and immediate start available

But don’t just take our word for it, you can check out what our Appvians say about us on Glassdoor and by following us on LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok.

We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and actively encourage, respect, and recognise diversity of thought and background throughout the business. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, or veteran, neurodiversity, and disability status.

Note: While all roles are active and approved at the time of posting, the dynamic nature of our start-up means some applications may be processed to pipeline talent for future opportunities rather than current openings. We will strive to keep you informed of any changes to the status of your application.
