Full job description
Do you thrive on bringing order to complexity and empowering others to do their best work? Are you someone who leads with empathy, builds trust across teams, and finds satisfaction in being the steady, organized force behind a high-performing group? If so, this role is for you.
As an Administrative Assistant Supervisor within Apple Services Engineering (ASE), you will lead a team of Administrative Assistants supporting the App Store organization — spanning Apps, Music, and Podcasts. You'll serve as a key partner to the Head of App Store, while overseeing the day-to-day effectiveness of your admin team across multiple sites. This is a highly collaborative, people-first leadership role that blends executive support, team management, and operational excellence in one of Apple's most dynamic and globally impactful organizations.
We're looking for a confident people manager and natural organizer — someone who can manage up, delegate thoughtfully, and scale a team's impact without losing sight of the individual. If you're a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who operates with the highest levels of integrity and discretion, we'd love to meet you.
Description
The Administrative Assistant Supervisor plays a pivotal leadership role within the App Store organization. You will manage a team of Administrative Assistants across Apps, Music, and Podcasts — ensuring team members are supported in their growth, development, and day-to-day effectiveness across global offices.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of Administrative or Executive Assistant experience supporting senior or director-level leadership
1+ years of direct people management experience, including performance management and team development
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
A Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree (AA), or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong presence and influence — a calming, professional voice capable of building relationships across Apple and acting as a polished representative for a senior organizational leader
Experience participating in calibration, TCP, or compensation review cycles
Familiarity with staffing and contracting workflows, including onboarding and offboarding processes
Experience managing employee relations matters, accommodations, and LOA processes in partnership with HR or a PBP
Proficiency with Apple tools including iCal, Keynote, Mail, eApproval, and other macOS-based systems
Experience with site management, space planning, or facilities coordination across multiple locations
Comfortable facilitating meetings, presenting process updates, and communicating organizational changes to leadership audiences
Curious, flexible, and a dedicated problem solver who thrives in ambiguity
Proficiency with Quip, Box, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
Prior experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced corporate environment
