The Lead Direct Support Professional provides direct care to individuals in community-based homes while supporting the Site Supervisor in daily operations. They are responsible for mentoring staff and ensuring the effective implementation of Individual Service Plans.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with IDD or behavioral health needs. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and various background clearances are required.
The Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) supports the Site Supervisor in maintaining daily program operations while providing direct support to individuals in community-based homes.
In addition to Direct Support Professional duties, the LDSP mentors and supports staff, models professional interactions, and helps ensure Individual Service Plans (ISPs) are implemented effectively. This role promotes independence, safety, and person-centered care for the individuals we serve.

Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in residential settings
Support implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
Mentor and support Direct Support Professionals
Collaborate with management to maintain smooth daily program operations
Promote independence, community participation, and positive behaviors
Complete required documentation and reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic computer skills (email, documentation systems, timekeeping)
Understanding of trauma-informed care
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
Work occurs primarily in participant homes and community settings.
