Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Manage food preparation, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Italian Chef in a reputable establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent knife skills and food presentation abilities.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
