Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM, M-F
Elementary school serving 3rd-5th grade
Approximate caseload of 30 students
Diverse, multicultural school community
Caseload Highlights
Approximately 12-13 students in a high-needs classroom utilizing AAC
Around 8 students receiving RTI speech-language services
Variety of speech and language needs across the elementary setting
Opportunity to collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
Develop and implement treatment plans based on students' communication needs
Support students using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
Participate in RTI initiatives and provide early intervention support
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Attend IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
School-based experience is preferred but not required
