Occupational Therapist (2026-2027 School Year) Location: Redford MI 48239 Start/End Date: 2026-2027 School Year Grade Levels: K-12 Caseload: Supporting ASD programs throughout the district alongside another OT; caseload is 50-55 students across direct and consultative therapy modalities Salary Range: $57,500-$75,000 annualized salary, based on experience and qualifications. Paid Time Off: 6 days per year, prorated based on your start date. AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide onsite therapy in South Redford, Michigan. This full-time role will support the district's ASD classrooms. You’ll work alongside another occupational therapist, as well as a multidisciplinary team to support K-12th grade students. AnthroMed is proud to continue our over five year partnership with such a supportive school district! This school year we have had 10 providers working across the district, and we couldn't be happier to continue our collaboration!
Responsibilities · Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-3:00PM. · Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs. · Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings. · Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. · Utilize IEP system for management and compliance. · Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. · Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.
Qualifications · Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI. · Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. · Passion for working with diverse student populations. · Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
