The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. They will also support the Senior Financial Controller with financial reporting, VAT returns, and external audit coordination.
Candidates must be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience. Proficiency in advanced Excel and a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance are essential.
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for 12 months. This position can be in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan or Dublin and is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced business and make an immediate impact within our Finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end process, balance sheet management, financial reconciliations, and reporting activities, while supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
