Overview
Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, LLC, an American Foods Group company has an opportunity for an Electrician I at our East River plant in Green Bay, WI.
As Electrician I, you will:
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or ammeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning; ensure all safety and lock out tag out procedures followed if applicable.
Perform all electrical preventative maintenance and visual inspection for damage on equipment in applicable areas; ensure all safety and Lock out/Tag out procedures are followed if applicable.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Hours vary based on production needs and extended hours may be required.
State Beginner Electrician Registration.
1 year prior electrical experience or equivalent schooling.
Must be able to successfully complete training:
Safety.
Safe Quality Food (SQF).
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Food defense.
Lock out/Tag out.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior maintenance experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
Prior production experience.
Work history in the last 12 months.
