The technician will lead renewable site operations to ensure safety, reliability, and maximum performance of solar and battery storage equipment. Responsibilities include performing corrective and preventive maintenance, overseeing contractors, and managing plant documentation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in a technical field preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in renewable energy or power plant generation is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Performs corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations for which they are qualified to perform for equipment safely and efficiently.
Provides balance of plant activities including inspections, maintenance and repair of both equipment and roads.
Assists with site vegetation mitigation plans including running tractors, riding mowers, and other vegetation maintenance equipment.
Assist in using elementary, schematic, wiring and control diagrams to locate, troubleshoot and repair control systems involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
Initiate clearance permits/LOTO, isolate equipment and remove all stored energy in accordance with procedure. Initiate permits in accordance with policies and procedures.
Assist in counting/finding warehouse inventory and parts.
Use computer applications and software programs to extract data, analyze trends and report status to ensure plant reliability and efficiency. Produce, revise, and maintain records, technical reports, procedures, and plant drawings.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.
Associate degree in related technical field (e.g., electronics, engineering technology) or equivalent Journeyman qualifications is desired.
Two years of experience in the renewable industry working as a technician or related work experience in power plant generation (electrical maintenance, operations, or plant construction), or a combination of these.
Electrical experience working on/near various voltages ranging from 24V to 34.5kV and working knowledge of voltages above 34.5kV recommended.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals (single craft journeyman skills) such as electrical measurements, control circuits, and solid-state theory application
Valid Driver's License
Base Salary from $32/hr-$50/hr.
