We are currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Component Technician to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will support the manufacturing of high-quality roof and floor truss by preparing, cutting, and assembling materials according to engineered drawings and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order.
• Assemble trusses according to company procedures, SWOP, and Team Leader instructions.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup.
• Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly.
• Perform additional duties as required to support production and team operations.

Experience

• No experience required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
• Previous woodworking, manufacturing, or construction experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to safely use a hammer and accurately read a tape measure using the imperial (feet, inches, and sixteenths) measurement system is an asset.
• Experience reading and interpreting work orders, production drawings, or blueprints is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
