AJW Group est un leader mondial indépendant spécialisé dans la chaine d'approvisionnement, l'échange, la réparation et la location de composants d'avions. Riche de plus de 90 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de l'aviation, AJW soutient plus de 1000 compagnies aériennes dans 100 pays.

L'une des principales divisions du groupe AJW est AJW Technique, une installation de pointe pour l'entretien, la réparation et la révision (MRO) qui compte plus de 150 techniciens expérimentés et passionnés à Montréal.

Le titulaire du poste sera en mesure de livrer des solutions d'ingénierie de pointe et innovantes afin de soutenir les opérations au niveau de l'ingénierie tout en permettant de réduire les coûts et améliorer la fiabilité des composants de nos clients. Le titulaire sera également en charge d’introduire de nouvelles capacités de réparation de composants.

Principales Responsabilités

  • Supporter activement la production à résoudre les problèmes en temps voulu;

  • Rédiger les instructions techniques nécessaires aux activités de réparation de composantes et au soutien de l'atelier;

  • Concevoir des outils, des équipements d'essai et des logiciels pour tester et certifier ces mêmes composants;

  • Rechercher, développer et mettre en œuvre des solutions de réparations techniques des pièces élémentaires pour améliorer la fiabilité et réduire les coûts sur de réparation des composants;

  • Communiquer avec les OEMs pour solutionner les points techniques complexes;

  • Examiner les bulletins de service (SB) des équipements pour l'ensemble du portfolio de produits afin de recommander des améliorations en termes de fiabilité ou de coûts;

  • Contrôler la fiabilité des composants en collaboration avec les principaux clients;

  • Responsable des investigations techniques sur les problèmes des composants des clients;

  • Examiner les manuels de maintenance (CMM) et établir les exigences en matière d'équipement de test, de formation des techniciens et de matériel;

  • Gérer les projets tout au long du processus NPI (« New Product Introduction »);

  • Préparer les justifications financières pour soutenir les nouveaux produits;

  • Aider à la formation des techniciens;

AJW Group is a world-leading independent specialist in the supply, exchange, repair and lease of aircraft spare parts. With over 90 years of aviation experience, AJW supports over 1000 airlines across 100 countries.

One of the main divisions of the AJW Group is AJW Technique, a state-of-the-art component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility with over 150 experienced and passionate technicians in Montreal.

The position holder will be able to deliver advanced and innovative engineering solutions to support engineering-level operations while reducing costs and improving the reliability of our clients' components. The position holder will also be in charge of introducing new component repair capabilities.

Rôle :

  • Actively support production teams in resolving issues in a timely manner;

  • Prepare technical instructions required for component repair activities and shop-floor support;

  • Design tools, test equipment, and software to test and certify these components;

  • Research, develop, and implement technical piece-part repair solutions to improve reliability and reduce component repair costs;

  • Liaise with OEMs to resolve complex technical issues;

  • Review equipment Service Bulletins (SBs) across the entire product portfolio and recommend reliability and cost improvements;

  • Monitor component reliability in collaboration with key customers;

  • Lead technical investigations related to customer component issues;

  • Review Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and determine test equipment, technician training, and material requirements;

  • Manage projects throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process;

  • Prepare business cases and financial justifications to support new product introductions;

  • Assist with the training of technicians.

Exigences:

  • Minimum 5-7 ans d’expérience dans un environnement similaire en aéronautique idéalement dans un service MRO;

  • Diplôme Universitaire en Ingénierie lié au domaine de l’aérospatial

  • Membre de l’OIQ;

  • Très grande connaissance des systèmes qualité et des standards dans un environnement aéronautique ;

  • Expérience approfondie des composants et systèmes aéronautiques ;

  • Connaissance de la philosophie 5 “S” ;

  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en français et en anglais pour la compréhension des manuels de maintenance ainsi que pour les échanges internes et externes (OEMs, clients) ;

  • Fortes compétences en matière d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes ; souci du détail ;

  • Joueur d’équipe et compétences interpersonnelles pour établir de bonnes relations avec les autres membres de l’équipe et avec l’ensemble des autres départements ;

  • Sens de l’organisation, axé sur les résultats, flexible.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar aerospace environment, ideally in an MRO service;

  • University degree in Engineering related to the aerospace field;

  • Member of the OIQ;

  • Strong knowledge of engineering and quality systems in an aerospace environment;

  • In-depth experience with aircraft components and/or systems;

  • Knowledge of the “5S” philosophy;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English for reading and understanding maintenance manuals and for both internal and external (OEMs, customers) exchanges;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail;

  • Team player and interpersonal skills to establish good relationships with all employees;

  • Organizational skills, results-oriented, flexible.
