The technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing rigid surgical medical equipment and instruments. This includes disassembling defective parts, documenting all services performed, and maintaining a clean workspace according to standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of repair experience. Physical ability to lift 20 lbs and proficiency with precision tools like soldering irons and microscopes are required.
