The Family Support Clinician will conduct clinical assessments, develop crisis plans, and provide individual and family therapy to support clients. They are also responsible for coordinating care, identifying community resources, and providing skills training to youth and their families.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field and have at least two years of clinical experience. A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle are required for community-based service delivery.
Advocates is seeking a Family Support Clinician. You will provide services contracted through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), helping families to build skills, resolve clinical challenges, and access resources. You will support families in navigating a wide range of issues, including trauma, behavioral health challenges, complex family systems, and substance use. Services are delivered primarily in families’ homes and in other community locations.
We offer a collaborative team environment, weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and ongoing training. We are committed to helping our staff obtain licensure. You’ll be joining a collaborative and energetic environment that incorporates a wide range of programs. Our multidisciplinary providers are invested in continuous learning and clinical excellence.
