The FAE drives sales growth by providing technical support, solution recommendations, and system architecture guidance to customers in the industrial and medical power supply segment. They act as a bridge between customers and the product development team to influence the product roadmap and define new requirements.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in power electronics design or applications. Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of power supplies and digital communication buses like I2C.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Advanced Energy is looking for an experienced and competitive Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to help drive sales growth in the industrial and medical power supply segment. The FAE will collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and design engineers to provide highly differentiated technical support to our customers to drive design wins for a diverse set of applications and customers in the Rockies and TOLA region.
This position is based in Denver, CO; however, we also welcome qualified candidates from the Round Rock, TX area to apply.

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting base salary for this role is $110,000 to $180,000 per year.
