Sierra Tucson, a world renowned residential treatment center, is seeking aPRN Massage Therapist
to work at our beautiful campus, located at 39580 S Lago del Oro Parkway, Tucson AZ.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Provide Swedish, Dep Tissue and/or Therapeutic massage services as an integrative and complimentary treatment technique for patients.
SCHEDULE: As needed
Pay starting at $50.00/ hr for massage therapy sessions
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Provide Swedish, Dep Tissue and/or Therapeutic massage services as an integrative and complimentary treatment technique for patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide Swedish and/or Shiatsu massage with appropriate, generally accepted techniques.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Verify the order for services and reason for request for services with nursing staff/medical provider.
Address needs of patient as applicable to the orders in treatment sessions.
Complete charting information in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete billing information in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to work in team approach in treatment of trauma, eating disorders and addiction.
Familiar with all pertinent policies including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, staff professional behavior, infection control, fire and safety, massage services and HIPAA issues.
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited massage institute with license to practice as a massage therapist required.
Experience in providing massage services to patients recovering from trauma, addictions, and eating disorders required.
One or more years’ experience in professional massage required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
