The Technician II is responsible for performing minor and intermediate aircraft repairs, modifications, and service bulletins. They are also expected to direct the work of less experienced mechanics and ensure high quality standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience or training. Proficiency in fabrication and the use of technical drawings is required, while an Airframe and Powerplant license is optional.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. -May or may not have an Airframe and Powerplant license. -Computer keypunch experience -Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
