The Labor Relations Manager serves as the primary liaison between the City and union representatives, leading collective bargaining negotiations and developing labor relations policies. They provide guidance to management on employment laws and conduct investigations into employee misconduct.
Requires a bachelor's degree in labor relations, business administration, or a related field, along with four years of experience in labor negotiations. A Juris Doctor (JD) and Illinois law license are preferred but optional.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.
To be eligible to apply, current City employees must have completed their probationary period and attained certified status in their current position.
