Performs apheresis procedures and whole blood collections while recruiting and processing volunteer donors. Responsible for waived laboratory testing, equipment maintenance, and supporting translational research activities.
Requires a High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience or an Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience in a blood donor center. Phlebotomy and CPR certifications are required within six months of hire.
Position will work M-F 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May work an occasional Saturday or holiday. Shifts can rotate; Shifts can start at 7:30 am-4 pm or 9:30 am-6 pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with apheresis or plasmapheresis machines
Experience in a blood donor center or plasma center
