Purpose of the job/ Overall responsibility |
The Senior ACE Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining integration solutions on the IBM App Connect Enterprise platform within DSV’s Enterprise Integration landscape. The role ensures that internal application-to-application integrations are delivered in a stable, secure, scalable, and standards-compliant way, supporting business-critical processes across divisions and contributing to migration, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Success is measured by stable and predictable delivery of ACE integrations, high quality of technical design and documentation, successful completion of unit and integration testing, adherence to DSV development standards and change processes, timely support for deployment and hypercare activities, and effective collaboration with Team Leads, requestors, support teams, platform teams, and other stakeholders.

Works within agreed development standards, architecture principles, security guardrails, and DSV change management processes. Has authority to propose technical solutions, raise risks and quality concerns, recommend improvements, and support technical decisions within assigned integration tasks, while final prioritisation, resource allocation, and production approval remain with the relevant Team Lead, Manager, Release Management, and governance functions.
