The insulator is responsible for applying insulating materials, claddings, and coatings to pipes, vessels, and ductwork. They must also read blueprints, prepare surfaces, and ensure all work complies with safety procedures.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting 40 pounds and standing for prolonged periods. Basic math skills and the ability to work outdoors are required.
