Requires at least 2 years of blasting and painting experience and a valid TWIC card. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Description
To perform all painting and sandblasting helper job functions per contract / job specifications and quality assurance requirements / blasting and painting procedures and established International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) program standards. This position is located Offshore in the Gulf of America, formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico.
Requirements
Individuals must know and use pressure paint guns, sandblasting hoses and nozzles, wet mill paint gauges, paint pots, air pressure compressors, protective blasting hoods and breathing respirators.
80% to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud etc. They will also be exposed to paint thinner and paint fumes.
