Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, and ship repair services for the oil & gas and marine sectors. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QC Inspector – MEP to oversee inspection activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform inspections of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and quality procedures.

· Verify incoming materials and equipment against approved specifications, purchase orders, and material submittals.

· Conduct stage-wise inspections for HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, cable installation, equipment installation, and testing activities.

· Review and verify drawings, method statements, material approvals, and quality documentation prior to inspection activities.

· Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

· Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action records.

· Coordinate with engineering, construction, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding inspection requirements.

· Witness testing and commissioning activities including pressure testing, flushing, balancing, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and functional testing.

· Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records throughout the project lifecycle.

· Coordinate with third-party inspectors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.

· Monitor closure of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

· Support internal and external audits by providing required quality documentation.

· Ensure compliance with company QHSE requirements and project quality standards.

· Perform additional duties assigned by the QA/QC Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

· Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in MEP projects within construction, industrial, oil & gas, marine, or EPC environments.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical systems, and installation practices.

· Familiarity with international standards, project specifications, and inspection requirements.

· Experience in testing and commissioning inspections for MEP systems.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and technical specifications.

· Proficient in MS Office and quality reporting documentation.

· Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

· Fluency in English (mandatory).
