Develop Embedded Linux software, device drivers, and firmware for satellite technology Modem SOCs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-performance satellite communication products throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requires a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with over 8 years of embedded development experience and at least 2 years in Linux kernel/driver development. Mandatory expertise in networking fields, including NICs, switching, and packet processing is required.
Job Description:
• Take part in a core team developing Embedded Linux SW for a cutting-edge satellite technology Modem SOC.
• Cooperate with SW architects, VLSI engineers, board designers and validation engineers to deliver high performance and top standard satellite communication products.
• Develop Linux device drivers, user space applications for Linux operating systems as well as Firmware.
• Involve in all aspects of the SW development lifecycle, from design to development for our current and future products.
• Engage in collaborative efforts to create next-gen embedded systems, harnessing the forefront of innovative satellite communication technologies for our unique SOCs and products.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded Linux kernel and developing drivers – Mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded development – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in the networking field (NIC, switching, network protocols- Ethernet/802.1Q, P/IP, packet processing, data plane stacks) – Mandatory.
• SW/HW integration – DMA, interrupts, telemetry.
• Optimize throughput, latency and CPU utilization, profiling and automated tests.
• Experience in embedded Linux low-level, BSP and board bring up –Advantage.
• Self-learning capabilities – adapt to changes and study new technical fields.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
