Nova seeks a SW QA Engineer to join our R&D organization and play a key role in ensuring   the quality of our advanced software solutions.

In this role, you will become an integral part of an Agile team, contributing to the  development and release of Nova’s multidisciplinary systems. You will work closely with R&D, system, and product teams, driving quality across the software lifecycle and supporting product validation, including Beta testing at customer sites worldwide.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex systems combining software, hardware, and advanced technologies in the semiconductor industry.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as a QA engineer within an Agile development team
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to release
• Define and implement testing strategies and plans for Nova software systems
• Perform manual testing to validate system functionality and performance
• Develop, execute, and maintain regression tests
• Identify risks in software development and ensure high-quality standards
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and define corrective actions
• Plan, coordinate, and execute Beta testing activities at customer sites (abroad)
• Develop deep system understanding to support continuous improvement

Requirements

• Manual QA Engineer and composing test plans - must.
• 3+ years of experience as automation QA Engineer - must.
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML testing, including evaluating model performance, validating outputs, and identifying edge cases, bias, and inconsistencies – must.
• Experience in client - server method - must.
• Hands-on experience working with servers and databases, including data validation and querying - must.
• Experience in testing multidisciplinary systems (complex SW & HW systems) – preferred in semiconductor industry - Advantage.
