The Maintenance Associate is responsible for the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing, QC, and R&D equipment, as well as repairing HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. They will also manage external vendors, monitor maintenance plans, and act as a first responder for facility-related emergencies.
Candidates should possess high technical ability with a hands-on approach and the capacity to read and understand technical drawings. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is considered an advantage, along with a Practical Engineer qualification.

Pi-Cardia is looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Associate to support the company's day-to-day maintenance and facility operations. The role is responsible for maintaining equipment, utilities, and building systems, coordinating preventive maintenance and calibration programs, managing external vendors, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment across the organization.

The company has years of knowledge and expertise accumulated in degenerated valves, including calcification patterns, mode of valve failure, and impact of various methods of leaflet modification. ShortCut™ is designed to provide a safe, simple, and effective way to split leaflets of a pre-existing valve to enable TAVR in patients at risk for coronary obstruction and may assist in preserving coronary access.
