What you'll be doing
Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise voice and collaboration solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of unified communications services.
Deploying, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft Teams voice solutions, including Phone System and Direct Routing capabilities.
Integrating Microsoft Teams voice services with Audiocodes SBCs, including Mediant series devices, and supporting OVOC-based management and monitoring.
Managing and supporting the VoIP backbone to ensure seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud telephony systems.
Provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting managed phones, ATA devices, user profiles, calling policies, and related voice service components.
Managing SIP trunking, PSTN integration, call routing, dial plans, voice policies, and telephony connectivity in line with business requirements.
Monitoring system health, availability, performance, call quality, and service stability across unified communications environments.
Troubleshooting and resolving voice, collaboration, connectivity, call routing, device, and service-related incidents within agreed timelines.
Conducting root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and service providers for escalations, lifecycle activities, upgrades, and service improvements.
Maintaining accurate documentation for configurations, call flows, changes, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
Mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance to support knowledge sharing and consistent operational delivery.
Identifying opportunities for automation, service improvement, and operational efficiency across voice and collaboration services.
Using scripting, including PowerShell where applicable, to support administration, reporting, troubleshooting, and automation activities.
What you'll bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in unified communications, voice engineering, or enterprise telephony support roles.
Proven experience with Microsoft Teams voice solutions, including Phone System and Direct Routing, in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Audiocodes SBCs, including Mediant series devices, and OVOC management.
Strong understanding of VoIP backbone architecture, SIP trunking, PSTN integration, dial plans, call routing, and telephony connectivity.
Experience provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting managed phones, ATA devices, user profiles, calling policies, and endpoint-related voice services.
Knowledge of hybrid telephony environments, including connectivity between on-premises and cloud telephony systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex voice, connectivity, and call quality issues.
Ability to monitor system health, analyze performance indicators, and conduct root cause analysis for service-impacting issues.
Good documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate configuration records, operational procedures, call flow diagrams, and change evidence.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, vendors, service providers, and stakeholders.
Ability to mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.
PowerShell scripting knowledge for administration, reporting, troubleshooting, and automation is desirable.
Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate certification is preferred.
Audiocodes Certified Professional certification is desirable.
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
