Evidence of excellent human relations skills that warrant managing the health and wellbeing of others. Ability to work varied work schedules and assist with obtaining shift coverage. Ability to pass a satisfactory criminal background check, a pre-employment physical, drug screen and MVR. Physical stamina and ability to lift 45 pounds. Must have reliable transportation.
Job Summary: The Program Coordinator at Wesley Glen Ministries, Inc. is a supervisory level position, operating under the general supervision of the Director of Residential Services. This individual will be responsible for oversight and management of the home budget and daily operations of the group homes. Creating and coordinating work schedules and shift coverage for group homes managed. Supervising the Residential Advocate (RA) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP), including serving as Residential Advocate (RA) when necessary. Observation and documentation of individuals’ behaviors and medical conditions. Training and assisting people with daily living skills, social skills and emergency skills including any ongoing training processes. Ensuring the homes maintain a clean and healthy living environment. Ability to respond and effectively manage emergencies and crisis and uphold the mission and values of Wesley Glen Ministries. Appropriately oversee confidential information. Ability to uphold important policy and procedures of the Organization.
