The Primary Therapist manages client caseloads by conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating family therapy. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, document progress, and manage clinical crises to maintain client safety.
Candidates should hold a Master's degree or relevant experience in the substance abuse field, along with professional certifications such as LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, or LADAC. A strong understanding of chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis is required.

The Primary Therapist is responsible for managing client caseloads. This includes weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, and treatment planning, maintaining contact with client’s family members and leading group facilitation. The Primary Therapist maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment, and communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients per company policies, procedures, and best practices.
