Full job description
Job Description
Just imagine creating unforgettable LEGO® League experiences that bring students from around the world together. Then make it real.
Please note: This role is an Individual Contributor role at Manager Specialist level and we do not support relocation.
About the role
As our Events and Experience Manager, LEGO League, you'll help create a best-in-class LEGO League event experience. You'll enable LEGO League partners around the world to deliver local events and play a key role in planning and executing the global championship for LEGO League teams. This is a permanent role where you'll create event assets, support partners, and help bring the LEGO Education brand to life through meaningful experiences for students. You'll work to agreed milestones and budgets while helping shape a new global program from the ground up.
Required Qualifications
Experience with event organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Understanding of marketing and brand experiences.
Calm decision-making in changing situations.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with autonomy and take ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with vendor management.
Experience with project and budget management.
Cultural understanding when working across global partners.
Positive and solution-focused approach.
What you'll build (your key responsibilities)
Create and deliver impactful LEGO League events for students around the world.
Support partners with tools, assets, and guidance to deliver local event experiences.
Contribute to a LEGO League event experience framework and partner playbook.
Develop event execution assets that support consistent, high-quality delivery.
Help plan and execute the LEGO League global championship.
Deliver work to agreed milestones and budgets.
Build experiences that create memorable moments for students while showcasing the LEGO Education brand.
If you've worked in a role where you organized large events, collaborated with international partners, and continuously improved experiences based on lessons learned, you'll feel at home here. Experience with FIRST LEGO League events is valuable. What matters most is your ability to create meaningful experiences, work across cultures, and turn ideas into well-executed events.
Life on the team
You'll join the LEGO League Program team in Global Marketing within LEGO Education. The team's purpose is to create experiences, impact, and lasting memories for hundreds of thousands of students around the world. We're a newly established team working closely with colleagues across LEGO Education and the LEGO Group. The way we work is informal, collaborative, and focused on creating positive outcomes, with people supporting one another while taking ownership of their work.
What success looks like
Success means making clear contributions to partner event assets and the partner playbook, taking independent responsibility for key deliverables, and building strong relationships across teams. You'll work closely with the LEGO Education Product Experience, Product Marketing, and Brand team, and the Senior Events and Experience Manager while helping prepare LEGO League for its launch in August 2027. Beyond launch, you'll help capture learnings for development of the next LEGO League seasons and continue shaping experiences that lead to a memorable global LEGO League Championship in spring 2028 and beyond.
