Lead Development Representative (Lead Generation)

As an LDR, you will be primarily responsible for lead generation and qualification, with a particular focus on leveraging events and our website as lead sources.  You will engage with potential customers and help to build the pipeline that drives our continued success. You'll work closely with sales and marketing teams across EMEA and APAC while developing the skills needed for a career in sales, business development, account management, or marketing.

What you'll do

As a Lead Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers from inbound lead sources such as events and website enquiries and helping to drive business growth by delivering high-quality opportunities to our regional sales teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting, researching, and identifying new leads by using a variety of approaches and through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.
• While you won't have face-to-face customer interactions, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers over the phone and MS Teams, building relationships and providing valuable insights. 
• Identifying key decision makers within these prospects and determining the potential of leads to the business.  Once leads are qualified, LDRs hand them off to the sales team for further engagement and closing.  
• Building rapport and understanding customer needs are essential to the LDR role utilising key customer service skills combined with sales techniques and strategies.
• Lead Development representative will be required to manage their time effectively to meet targets and deadlines. 
• Engaging proactively with and coordinating with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline. 
• Capturing all relevant information in Salesforce with strong attention to detail when managing leads, tracking interactions, and maintaining accurate records. 
• Managing the team inbox to support customer and partner enquiries and route inquiries to the appropriate team. 
• Consistently achieving activity and qualification targets while delivering an excellent customer experience

What we're looking for

You may be a recent graduate looking to start your career, have experience in sales or customer service, or already be working in a business development role and ready to take the next step in your professional journey.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• A strong interest in sales, business development, or customer engagement
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers in multiple languages
• A curious mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English is essential. Candidates who speak one or more additional EMEA languages alongside their native language will be given priority.
• Resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work towards targets

Additionally, the following would be advantageous:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, recruitment, or lead generation
• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce

Formal qualifications are helpful but not essential. We are more interested in your motivation, attitude, and potential to succeed.
