The technician is responsible for completing change orders, installing options, and correcting defects on fire apparatus and aerial trucks. This includes plumbing, electrical tasks, and general maintenance of demo vehicles to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong mechanical skills, including the ability to read blueprints and understand hydraulic/electric circuits. The role requires the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding industrial conditions.
