Safely and efficiently operate various specialized cranes while ensuring proper setup and adherence to company procedures. Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and maintain detailed operational logs.

Sterling Crane LLC: Founded in 1954, Sterling Crane has been one of North America’s premier leaders in the heavy lift industry offering operated and bare rentals, sales, parts, and unparalleled service to all our customers. We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America, in excess of 1000 units. With an increase in recent demand, we are in need of a CDL Crane Operator at our Midland Yard.The crane operator is required to safely operate cranes efficiently and maintain a standard of accuracy that aligns with the company procedures and customer requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes
Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements
Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary
Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions
Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
Must have strong ability work well within a team environment.
Strong depth perception and quick reaction time
Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. regularly
Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs and operate machinery
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold
