🏭 Automated Conveyor Systems
About the Role
We are establishing a new engineering function in our Kunshan facility and are looking for two Mechanical Engineers - one senior and one junior - to support the design, optimization, and documentation of our automated conveyor products. You will work independently on standardized conveyor modules (belt conveyors, roller conveyors, hoists, transfers) and help integrate them into customized system solutions.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy structured design work, technical accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration in a small, agile company.
Key Responsibilities
Drawing transfer & documentation (≈60%)
Convert customer drawing packages (TDP) into internal standards, assign article numbers, and upload data into the ERP system.
Production support (≈20%)
Analyze and resolve technical or quality issues during manufacturing.
Design & R&D (≈20%) - Update and optimize existing conveyor modules
Complete detailed design for two conveyor types (concept already defined)
Support new product development based on standardized platforms
Cross‑functional collaboration - Work closely with production, purchasing, and quality teams; clarify technical questions with customers when needed.
Standards & compliance - Interpret mechanical and electromechanical drawings in English/German and apply relevant standards.
