Requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years of experience in mining or mineral processing design environments. Deep expertise in wet plant design and experience across all study phases from concept to detailed design is essential.

The Principal Mechanical Engineer will lean on extensive industry experience to ensure all engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices. Additionally, the Principal Mechanical Engineer will drive growth of overall discipline capability in line with business strategies and targets. The Principal Mechanical Engineer will liase with Department Managers, Project Managers, Study Managers, other engineering Discipline Principals/Leads, Designers and the broader engineering team to oversee and deliver engineering work product and strategic growth initiatives.
