About the role
A permanent opportunity is available for a Senior Strategy Analyst to join the Group Strategy function. This role will see you working on a wide range of projects which produce real outcomes and bring significant value to our customers and our business. Your key responsibilities will include:
Deliver fact based analysis and strategic insights that influence key business decisions and long term priorities
Conduct analytical problem solving on key strategic financial issues including analysis of macroeconomic trends
Synthesise analysis to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to the business to enable execution against strategic initiatives
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business to execute the corporate planning process and prioritisation workstream
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Group Strategy team through collaboration and continuous improvement
About you and your skills
Our successful candidate will have proven experience working with complex analytical problem solving, experience writing or contributing to board level presentations and reports, as well as presenting those findings to senior business stakeholders. You’ll also have:
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification, with MBA, CPA or similar business qualification an advantage
Experience in managing consultancy firm, strategy, corporate finance, FP&A, retail would be advantageous
Demonstrated experience applying structured analytical and hypothesis based problem solving techniques
Experience developing executive level presentations and confidently communicating recommendations to stakeholders
Proven ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared outcomes
A collaborative mindset with experience contributing to high performing teams and delivering strategic outcomes
