About the role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Category Coordinator to join our growing Home Essentials team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Category Managers and Assistant Category Managers to deliver strong commercial outcomes, whilst ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of category data.

You’ll provide end-to-end coordination support across the category, including managing data, supporting promotions, and assisting with new product setup. You’ll also help analyse category performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a retail or FMCG background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across data, promotions and product lifecycle processes.

You’ll also:

• Manage and maintain product and category data to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Support promotional keying and campaign execution
• Assist with new line creation in collaboration with Category Managers and Assistant Category Managers
• Analyse category and sales data to identify trends, issues and opportunities
• Prepare and deliver reports that support decision-making across the business
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and streamline processes

About you and your skills

You’re a go-getter who brings energy and initiative to everything you do. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you enjoy piecing together information to solve problems and drive outcomes. You’re confident working both independently and collaboratively, and you thrive in a team environment where everyone contributes to success.

You have a natural ability to stay on top of multiple priorities, learn quickly, and proactively step in where needed. Ideally, you’ll bring exposure to retail or category environments, along with a strong understanding of how promotions and product lifecycles work.

You’ll also ideally have:

• Experience in administration, coordination, or retail/category roles
• A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong initiative
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail with strong data accuracy capability
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends or insights
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
