Seeking a Coordinator to join our diverse and energetic Architecture and Visual Merchandising Department. Representing two prominent heritage brands, Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen.
The role is key, working at the intersection of cross functional coordination and project management, bringing structure and clarity to a creative fast paced industry.
OUR ROLE
The department delivers and supports Global markets needs for Store Design and Visual Marketing. As a shared business unit; Store Design focus in designing, implementing and maintaining Global stores, Exhibitions and Pop Ups. Whilst Visual Merchandising, design and support markets on new campaigns, guidelines and instore displays across all retail categories. The physical retail stores are the brand touch points for customers. Our mission is to ensure the brands are represented at a high level through retail units and store experience.
This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and reports to the Head of Architecture and Visual Merchandising, Vivienne Lindhard. The role is full time and office based.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Working from our newly appointed, open planned offices in Flintholm, you will be situated within the shared business unit within Marketing. Working closely with small team of creatives. Providing a supportive role in planning, administrative tasks, guidelines and project deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Having ownership over the department calendar
- Forecasting Visual Merchandising tools for specific orders within the markets
- Coordinating local and Global projects within Visual Merchandising
- Streamlining support and services for Store Design across markets
- Assisting and planning of tasks on larger bespoke Store Design projects
- Being point of contact for external stakeholders for production, installation invoicing needs.
- Review and uphold budgets and timelines
- Support on Global guidelines and presentations for internal stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a practical and creative approach to planning; able to adapt to unforeseen changes and demands; whilst having a calm constructive attitude. You enjoy being apart of a team environment, being focused and tasked orientated. Having an appreciation for heritage design and passion for retail would be a an advantage.
Requirements:
- BA Degree level education or equivalent
- Approximately 3-5 years practical experience in a similar role.
- An understanding of the demands of retail design and visual merchandising is a plus but not a requirement.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Adobe In Design and Power Point.
- An understanding of Smartsheet and AX would be an advantage.
