The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transport, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished goods. They must also perform daily equipment inspections, maintain accurate shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and one to two years of experience in forklift operation or warehousing. Strong communication skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are required to manage shipping documents and inventory.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with, understand and interpret mathematical values/totals relating to allowable minimum/maximum limits regarding shipping weights, measures, costs/charges. Etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Verify uncertain situations, ask questions, do not guess.
