Assists the Produce Manager in operating the produce department, focusing on profitability, inventory levels, and maintaining fresh product displays. Provides world-class customer service and handles operational tasks including cashiering and receiving orders.
Preferably holds a high school diploma or GED with one year of experience in retail, grocery, or produce environments. Must be able to meet physical demands of lifting up to 100 lbs with a team and possess basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The Produce Assistant is responsible for assisting the Produce Manager in the successful operation and profitability of the produce department.
